Doordarshan Song Bharat Mein Hai Vishwas

Two more songs well worth mentioning are: Iraada kaun kaun swarga re (KAPIL SINGH), composed by Ratikant Pathak for the movie Koi Aur Babul where this song was picturised with rekha in a beautiful duet. Fox TV had it as the theme song for many years and it is a well-known song. Mere daal mein kya rahe hain, the song composed by Laxmikant Pyarelal for the movie Jwar Hanste Deewana Tha, is a totally different genre from this song and it has been used in many other movies.

Oh! and a very good thing about these songs on Doordarshan is that they were usually accompanied on the radio by live performances of Indian classical music. So you got the very best of both worlds!

A lot of films came on TV during this period where we just had to like the songs, and if you were into the movies, you'd search for these songs on youtube to listen to them.
