Hi there, My development team has a long term project with multiple clients on a single development server only. When the client wants to run reports, Crystal Reports have to be installed within the SharePoint (SP) site. This is due to our solution file containing the Crystal Reports that have to be installed within the SharePoint site. So due to lack of time, manpower and budget, I had to develop a WinForms application that can open the Crystal Reports files (CSV or PDF Excel, PowerPoint and OpenXMLs).
I have a scenario where I need to do CR Reports installation on a custom application. The custom application will be installed on client machines (IIS) and report deployment should be done from custom application. The custom application should provide facility to install and dekstop the crystal report. Right now I have a custom console application that deployment/install the CR. Following to that, I need to trigger some method in the custom console application when the reports are installed on client machine and dekstop them. I do not have the crystal report available for deployment.
I have just installed visual studio 2015 professional and am trying to create a report using the report creation wizard that is located under the crystal report button. I am unable to find anywhere to access the feature. Do any one know where this button is located or how I can get to it?
I have URUNT code in all my reports with a CRTVXML in my Web project rather than using a CRDE database. When I try to use a CRDE database I get to an error \"The SEQUENCE object that you used in your local report is not supported in the configuration. Please set a SEQUENCE directive in the report configuration file\" If I try to use URUNT instead of CRT it claims I need to install a runtime. Also when URUNT code has no sequencer it works fine with the CRDE database. So URUNT must support CRT in some way. 7211a4ac4a
