The expansion set features Leia Organa, in addition to a new story arc that introduces Luke, Leia and Ben Skywalker, as they begin to help the Resistance fight off the First Order. Set five years after Return of the Jedi, the story begins as Leia and Luke head to help the Resistance rebuild after their defeat on Endor, and after a mission in Hoth. There are also six missions 'Bolts of Omen' in which Leia and her team repel several First Order attacks. Like Legends Season 1, the set contains five missions and supports 18 Lego minifigures: a First Order trooper, a Resistance trooper, a Rebel Alliance trooper, four heroes—Luke Skywalker, Finn, BB-8 and Rey—and two Luke Skywalker figurines. A new Heroic Mission Pack also includes a First Order Command Shuttle and a First Order repulsorlift vehicle. Leia's appearance in the game is based on concepts she first introduced in The Force Awakens, such as her gunners hat, orange hair, grey coat and holocrons. The latter is a symbol of the memories she possesses, and the plan is for its location on her hard drive to change as she learns more about her past.
Although the game is based on Lucasfilm's Star Wars canon, this may not be the complete universe within which the game is set. In fact, Mara Jade had no features to represent her in Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga.
When the game came out, the sales were'mixed, with some players being disappointed at the lack of the previous 'Leviathans' content, and they also criticised for the low number of characters. But overall, the game was widely described as a critical and commercial success, with critics praising its story, characters and gameplay, while also summarising that the game was the best Star Wars Lego video game made yet. 7211a4ac4a
