You can open and edit plist files listed in Finder. You can find the plist files by selecting "view >> Library > > Other..." in Finder. Then type "plist" in the search box at the top left of the Finder window, you can see some files you think belongs to "plist" type are opened at immediate. However, not all of these plist files you opened are the good files. For example, you may want to edit plist file which contains serializable object. For a plist file which contains serializable object, please first import the file you want to edit to the application, then you can edit the plist file by using property list editor in the application. Next plist file is overwritten after saving the edited file.
