There is a separate repository for the Production folder. Once a file is inthe maintenance section of the repository, it is temporarily placed at manila.server.kent. edu, and if no files are submitted or withdrawn it moves to theproduction section, and is made available for download at www.kent.edu. For more information see the ChangeLog.txt file, or the instructions to someone who has downloaded the repository. Once a file is in the production section, it is put in a non-tagged archive. There isa script at scripts/edit_change_log.pl that will put out a new ChangeLog.txt file so that itpresuposes that the file does have a version number at the beginning.

The files are organized in folders by TeX-program or topic. You must install the plain version of Tex Live, i.e, either therpms version or a plain tar.gz distribution from one of the TeX Live web pages. I used the Debian method of installing texlive::pkg:texlive-plain,texlive-latex-base,texlive-latex-extra-doc. After installing the base package, installationsys-patches, and all the base programs using that. There is a briefintroduction and installation manual. Other installation and setup information willbe provided as needed for your specific needs.
